PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORTS & CASE MANAGEMENT
Over the years, WWO has reached and provided psychosocial supports for thousands of vulnerable children and adolescent whose lives were negatively impacted by psychological traumas. With a strong network of partnership with the Departments of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs (DOLISA) at various provinces and cities across Vietnam, we continue to strengthen and extend our coverage and interventions, with support services ranging from counseling and individual/family therapy, to teaching life-skills and social skills with age appropriate curricula.
WWO Vietnam follows each child's development closely, using case management techniques to approach not only the direct beneficiary but also his/her home, school, and community to understand the circumstances, challenges, and opportunities facing each child. With case management, WWO staff and trained volunteers pay routine home visit to maintain contact with the child's family, to mobilize our available resources as well as referral network to help meeting needs and addressing problems in the most timely and efficient manner.
EDUCATIONAL SUPPORTS & COMPUTER CLASSES
